“Your vote doesn’t count.” That’s a statement you may hear from others leading up to the 2020 election on November 3, or perhaps you have felt that way yourself.
Your vote does count, very much. Because if you don’t vote, another person’s vote will be amplified. Can you vote? Other than a few exceptions, the answer to that question is yes. Will you vote? That’s a different question, and the answer is completely up to you. I hope (and strongly encourage) that you will make the effort to cast your ballot while considering: “What will these candidates do to end hunger, alleviate poverty and create opportunity in the U.S. and worldwide?” Does that resonate?
